From the historic town of Brooksville near Central Florida’s Gulf Coast to the beautiful beaches of Boca Grande!

Candy Brooks was born in Wiesbaden, Germany into an Army family. They moved to The States in 1977 and to Florida in 1981. Growing up on acreage in Brooksville, Florida; she has always enjoyed the outdoors! Her weekends were filled with searching for the very best beaches the Florida coast has to offer, horseback riding, and exploring the vast state forest lands in central Florida.

She started working for Ford Motor Company as a collector and skip tracer in 1998, then went on to work for CitiFinancial as a producing branch manager. This is where she realized her passion for helping people to own their own homes. For the 17 years Candy has excelled in the banking and consumer finance industry. From teller to financial services representative, she moved on to become a branch manager and mortgage originator. Always exceeding production goals, while maintaining excellent customer service, and building lasting relationships.   During the down turn in the real estate market Candy had the opportunity to work as a grant administrator for housing and economic development grants all over the state of Florida. She administered the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) for 5 counties and 2 small cities in Florida; As well as administering, Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) for Housing rehabilitation and Economic Development. Candy is currently a licensed realtor and mortgage broker in the state of Florida. These experiences allow her a very unique perspective of the real estate process from financing, rehabilitation, to sales!

Candy lives in Boca Grande with her 13-year-old, Ian, two dogs and three cats. She is the Treasurer of the Boca Grande Area Chamber of Commerce and previously served the Hernando County Chamber of Commerce as a New Member Ambassador. She is a regular volunteer in the Cape Haze and Boca Grande communities, from baking bread for community spaghetti dinners, assisting in management of the scholarship fund for the Boca Grande Chamber of Commerce, and also helping to organize tarpon tournaments. It’s safe to say Candy understands the importance of community service! During her down time she loves to take advantage of the island life by boating, fishing and enjoying the banyan lined streets of Boca Grande. She is honored to say she won 2 ladies tarpon tournaments in the spring of 2015.
